CPI Oil Water Separator

Product Description:

90% Footprint Reduction

CPI vertically stacks settling areas using inclined plates. Our CPI equipment occupies only 10-20% of the footprint of an API tank with equivalent processing capacity, saving you valuable land and civil engineering investment.

High-Efficiency Small Droplet Removal

Based on Stokes' Law, inclined plates reduce oil droplet rise distance by 90%, efficiently removing 50-60 micron free oil droplets for clearer effluent.

Zero Power, Zero Chemicals

The CPI core operates via gravity flow with no moving parts, requiring no electricity (except for skimmers) and no chemical dosing. This significantly reduces your Opex (operating expenses).

PRODUCT DETAILS

Low Maintenance & Automatic

1. Self-Cleaning: Smooth, 60° inclined plates automatically guide solids into the sludge hopper.

2. Auto-Skimming: Optional automatic skimmers periodically remove floating oil.

3. Removable Plates: Plates can be easily pulled out for rinsing during maintenance.

FAQ
  • What information do I need to provide to get an accurate quote?

    Please be sure to provide:
    1.Flow Rate (m³/h)
    2. Source of Wastewater
    3. Inlet Oil Content (mg/L)
    4. Target Outlet Oil Content (mg/L)
    5. Water Temperature (°C)
    6. Oil Density (kg/m³).

  • What's the difference between CPI and DAF? How should I choose?

CPI (Simple, Cost-Effective) relies on gravity to remove Free Oil and large suspended solids (SS). DAF (High Efficiency, Costly) uses microbubbles to remove Emulsified Oil and fine SS. Selection: If your wastewater has extremely high oil content (e.g., >500 mg/L), CPI serves as the optimal pretreatment for DAF, removing 90% of the load. If your wastewater is primarily emulsified oil, DAF should be the preferred choice.

  • Will your plates clog?

They are not prone to clogging. 1. We use a steep 60° incline, allowing solids (sludge) to slide off naturally. 2. We recommend appropriate plate spacing based on your water quality (SS content). For example, with high SS content, we recommend wide spacing of 40-50mm.

  • What is the lead time?

CPI is custom-built equipment. Depending on the treatment capacity, the manufacturing cycle is typically 30-45 days.
